Community members gain practical exposure to paddy cultivation through hands-on harvesting activities and community-based agricultural learning.

The paddy cultivation initiative supports local food production and contributes to broader efforts to strengthen food security in Sarawak.

Selected youths from the Tawang Baa community are given the opportunity to undergo formal paddy cultivation training, enabling them to return as trainers for their community.

The programme encourages active involvement from local residents, strengthening ownership and long-term commitment toward sustainable agricultural activities.

By developing paddy cultivation as a community-led initiative, the project creates potential for additional income generation and long-term livelihood sustainability.

Note: 4 youths were selected for a two-year skills training programme at MADA Kedah.
